Watch this space

Greetings, good people of KTJ!

In term 1 of the 2014/2015 academic year, the inter-house quiz saw a fierce battle for the inaugural Dato' Richard Small Challenge Trophy. After a tremendous competition which saw the fortunes of teams ebb and flow across the weeks, Nadzaruddin emerged as champions, taking the final in a nail-biting 92-89 victory!

This term, the inter-house quiz is back....

But for KTJ's juniors!

With the goal of encouraging the student population, particularly the younger ones, to take an active interest in general knowledge and events of the day, the competition will commence in the 3rd week of May. This is also in line with the tradition of every other house sport being split into junior and senior categories.

Some basic rules and guidelines:
1) The competition is only open to students in Form 4 or below (i.e. Form 5 and 6 precluded from competing)

2) Every house shall put up a team of 4 students to do battle in their house's name!

3) The teams do not have to remain constant across the weeks. Houses may make changes to the teams on a match-to-match basis. However, no substitutions may be made during a match.

Should any extra clarification be needed, feel free to comment below! Most of the other details pertaining to the running of the round will be furnished by the quizmaster during the round.

Juniors, get training! Seniors, you are undoubtedly busy with exams and rightly have little free time. However, should your juniors require it, do try to extend the hand of your experience and knowledge to them. =) A key part of this competition is the bond it will forge between the juniors and seniors!

The first round of the competition will take place on the 20th of May, barring any changes.

So let's get cracking! And your starter for 10.....
